Meeting Topic: Missing Child Unit and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force

The USMS in Northern Ohio established our MCU in 2020 to investigate and locate missing & endangered children. The MCU partners Deputy US Marshals with law enforcement and other agencies to not only locate these children but to put services in place for when a child is recovered. The USMS has led several multi-agency operations in Northern Ohio to focus on locating at-risk youth with much success, and the model established by Northern Ohio is now being used by USMS districts across the country.
