On March 23, 2020, we were informed by the Ohio BWC that in addition to the March and April Safety Council meetings that were already canceled, they are requring all Safety Council meetings for the month of May to be canceled as well.
A few related and important points:
Employers were already given one (1) meeting credit for March and one (1) credit for April. They will also be given one (1) credit for May. The online tracking sheet has been updated to reflect these credits. View the spreadsheet here.
If you registered for the March and/or April meetings with a credit card, you should have received a refund via your credit card.
BWC encourages the public to stay up to date on the latest COVID-19 information by visiting the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) website coronavirus.ohio.gov and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
ODH also has a call center open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. to answer questions regarding COVID-19. The call center can be reached at 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634).
