For 100 years, the Chippewa Lake Amusement Park was a regional attraction, bringing people to Medina County from near and far. The abandoned park, which closed in 1978, has a new owner: Medina County Park District.
Join us for an EXCLUISVE Chamber members only opportunity to tour the property IN-PERSON! Medina County Park District Director, Nathan Eppink, will provide a tour to a limited number of participants. Learn how the district intends to clean up and restore the property and provide public access ? and don?t forget to take a selfie in front of the Ferris wheel!
Check out this invite from Director, Nathan Eppink!
Casual dress and comfortable shoes are encouraged for this walking tour of the property.
(Due to the limited number of participants, if you register and need to cancel prior to the event day, please contact the Medina Chamber as soon as possible so that we can notify someone on the waiting list to take your spot.)
After registration, you will receive an email confirmation with directions for parking/entering the park.
